Live Recording and Mixing
For the last couple years, we've started recording and mixing live concerts. Multi-tracked into Protools with great mic pre's the end result has been spectacular. Recordings have ended up on Live EPs as well as concert DVDs and various forms of broadcast. Some of the artists we've recorded include:
Gnarlz Barkley, the Raconteurs, Lykke Li, Jason Mraz, Spoon. Jay-Z, Janelle Monae and more.

A typical live recording set-up involves a 2-3 man crew, 24-48ch stage splitter, 24-48ch's mic pre-amps* a Pro Tools HD rig and some sort of hard disk back-up system such as a Mackie 24-track HD or Tascam x-48.
*Usually Millenia pre amps but we can also assemble lower cost rigs using Klark Teknik pre's or even coming out of the insert sends on FOH consoles
